Dylan Relue ’15 sees the world through a lens, and he needed the right college academic program to build on his passion for filmmaking. A conversation with Associate Professor of Theatre Rob McKercher three years ago was exactly what he needed.

When Sara Umland ’15 was in sixth grade, she wrote a paper about what she wanted to do when she grew up: work at a museum. A decade later, the history and English double major from Windsor, Colorado, is well on her way; she was admitted to one of the top museum studies master's programs in the nation before graduation.

Doane College alumna Jill Smith '74 was elected chair of the college’s Board of Trustees during its April 23-24 meeting at the School of Arts and Sciences campus.

The Doane College Office of Strategic Communications was presented with awards in four categories on Thursday, May 7, at the Embassy Suites in downtown Lincoln during the 2015 Lincoln American Marketing Association Prism Awards.

Doane's Commencement ceremonies serve as a reminder that a college degree is so much more than a purchased commodity. It's an embodiment of everything they've learned and how they will go forth to enrich their lives and others'.
