Mathematics and Data Analytics Department

Students who major in Mathematics will demonstrate logical and critical thinking skills and persistence, communicate mathematical arguments and results clearly, develop solutions to open-ended problems, the ability to gather information and evidence to support or refute arguments, and most importantly accurately describe the usefulness of mathematics in the world towards their intended audience and purpose. Many of Doane’s Math majors continue advanced studies in Mathematics, Education Engineering, Statistics, and more.
